AW-Christmas and the Detroit Lion's Game [103 Images]
We have had a wonderful Christmas break! On the 23rd we were given the opportunity to travel to Detroit, Michigan, and watch a Lion's game with the Furrey family. Nick was able to go on the field and meet some of the players! It was such a special day!

Chi Omega hosted a talent show for Nick's Make a Wish trip. We were so amazed at how hard all of the students worked on this project! I have also placed a lot of other pictures in this album from the past few months.

As we left town for Nick's last surgery, we were shocked to find several hundred friends lining the streets with signs and balloons cheering Nick on in his fight against cancer!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to share their love!

B-Drug Rally and March Through Grayson [10 Images]
Over 3,000 people joined together in early October to show their support for the end of drugs in Carter County. Please pray that this problem can be solved and that people's lives will be restored!

B-Highlights of August through October of 2007 [31 Images]
The past few months have definitely been filled with ups and downs....emotionally and physically. Another surgery was definitely not on our list of things we wanted to do, but somehow God has once again brought us through this tough time in His amazing ways! We are so thankful for all of you who share this rocky road of life with us. We love you all!

Although we were devastated to find out that Nick had another brain tumor, God allowed us to once again have a special time in the hospital in spite of everything. Thank you to all of our friends who came to be with us and to all of you who prayed so faithfully for Nick and the surgeons.

H-Nick's Latest Hospital Visit [23 Images]
Wednesday, November 29th, Nick had surgery to remove a nodule off of his spinal column. This surgery was much more serious and involved than we had ever dreamed. The recovery has been so much more painful than the surgery in August. However, Nick is amazing! He gets stronger every day and is now able to walk alone and is beginning to be able to slowly move his neck from side to side. He has not yet been able to look down or up, but we know that will come in time! We thank you all for your prayers for Nick's healing!! PLEASE KEEP PRAYING!!!!!

H-Titans Game [12 Images]
Thanks to Mike and Carol Edwards (one of Tammy's best friends since third grade), Tim was able to take Evan, Todd, and Nick to the Titans/Giants game on November 26th. They had a blast!! The Titans came back from a 21-0 score in the fourth quarter to win 24-21!! Just like Nick, the Titans defied all odds!! Again this week, the Titans won in the last 12 seconds of the game with a near-record setting 60 yard field goal!! Nick and Titans have so much in common!!!!!!!!!!!

J-Exhausted Travelers Returning to KY from OH [4 Images]
Traveling up and down the interstate can get a little "old." This must have been one of those trips when everyone was pretty tired!! I hope the driver was awake!!! Caleb Yankey took the pictures!!

K- HALLOWEEN!!!!!!! [39 Images]
What a great day and wonderful night!! I taught school today and was able to spend time with my students. Nick ate lunch with Tim at KCU and Erich came home from college to spend some time with Nick. Nick and I stayed home during "trick or treat" and handed out candy. Several of Nick's friends came by (Ian, Brandon, and Ryan came and played games for a while!). Many more friends stopped by to say "trick or treat" and say "hi!" It was wonderful!!!!!!

M- WALK FOR NICK [45 Images]
Saturday, October 21, Kristy Dyer and Grayson Physical Therapy hosted a walk-a-thon for Nick. Every year, Kristy has a 5K Memorial race in memory of her dad, James Kromer. This year, she dedicated the walk to Nick. It was wonderful!! Nearly 200 people participated!!! There was a banner across Main Street that said, "Walk for Nick." T-shirts were designed by area elementary students! We, again, felt the love and strength of such an amazing community!!!! God continues to take care of us through wonderful friends and family!

Nick's sister, Olivia, whom we adopted from India in 1999, had surgery last week. Her tonsils and adnoids were removed, and she had tubes placed in her ears. These are a few of her pictures.

X - Special Visitors and Special Events [6 Images]
Nick has visitors almost daily! We feel so loved! Also, East Carter Middle School where Nick's mom teaches has been showering our family with love. Hat day money was collected and given to Tammy as an assembly of 700 students and all of the teachers. It was amazing.

X - Todd's Birthday [15 Images]
Todd turned 13 on August 23rd. We decided to have a blowout surprise birhtday party at the house so Nick could see all of his friends and Todd could feel loved.

Nick had lots of visitors in the first few days home. Grayson, KCU, First Church of Christ, Oak Grove, Gregoryville, and East Carter Middle School were just a few of the groups of friends and family who made our welcome home so much easier! Thanks to everyone!

Z - Hospital Experience [34 Images]
After a routine visit to the eye doctor, we discovered that Nick had swelling in his optic nerves. From a 9:30 eye exam on Wednesday, August 9th, our life began a new chapter. Nick had surgery just two days later and is now in the process of beginning radiation and chemotherapy. These are pictures from the hospital August 9th - August 15th. Nick had 43 visitors during this time and received 48 e-cards!!! The nurses were amazed!!
