Grief has a way of paralyzing your soul. Things that use to be so easy and natural to do can often become painful and extremely difficult. Updating Nick's website is one of those aspects of my life that has been impossible for the last month. I come here from time to time and find myself looking through the photo archives and becoming overwhelmed with great sadness......I know that day will come when my tears will be turned to laughter but for now, I am not going to pretend that I am not heartbroken. Nick was such a great kid! His smile, his energy, his passion for life were all contagious! We miss him in our house every minute of every day. We cry. We laugh. And then we cry some more. But, I do want you to know that Nick's legacy is going to have as much passion, as many smiles, and as much energy as his life did! We are going to keep Nick's spirit alive as we press on in our walks with the Lord. Nick would want nothing less!
